A New Favorite Brew

Widmer Brothers has long been a favorite with their hefeweizen offering. For 2007 they really out did themselves…presenting the W’07 Brewmasters Release, Pale Ale. *Yawn*

Not quite. This Pale Ale is unlike any I’ve tried before. It’s a very full, round-tasting pale ale, like many, but features a crisp, citrus finish. While not quite fruity, but just enough tang to really make it special. I’ve long been a Sierra Nevada Pale Ale fan, but this easily runs circles (or chugs) around it. Not only is the beer delicious with a meal, it can play a perfect role during a night of binge drinking…which seems to be my favorite.

Give it a try, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
