With all the recent snowfall at Mt Hood we decided to switch things up and take a nice gorge hike to Wachella Falls. This is a easy 1 mile loop to a very impressive double tier waterfall. In my humble opinion, this is definitely the best hike (step for step) in the Columbia River Gorge. [...]

The snow just keeps falling. Mt. Hood is getting hammered with snow and it’s showing no signs of stopping. By Sunday they’re calling for another 34″ of fresh POW! Chris Clarke arrived at the Portland International Airport on Thursday, December 28th ready for adventure. With snowboard in hand, we quickly made the 45 minute drive back to Hood River.
